Paula Burch's website about dyeing is thorough, well written and easy to navigate. The focus is textiles and not paper, but it's where we turn to first when we reach for MX. She has a scientist's clarity and a craftsperson's zeal.

DieuDonné is the great papermill in the Brooklyn Navy Yard in New York founded by UW Madison grad Sue Gosin. Check it out if you're in the area. We got hooked on papermaking by their former studio director, Pat Almonrode, in the last class he taught there back around 2000.

Among many other things they do, they maintain member pages, publish a beautiful hard copy annual bulletin and send out bi-monthly email of opportunities. They also do a biennial congress (Sofia 2018, Tokyo cancelled in 2020 but hopefully scheduled for 2021 or 2022).

Libery Grove Paper Arts - Nancy Akerly is an amazing marbling instructor and artist. If you want to learn or re-learn marbling in a workshop, take hers. October 2017, we took a 2 day workshop at Shake Rag Alley Center for the Arts in Mineral Point, WI. Make sure you ask her to sing. She is great with both step-by-step students AND with those whose eagerness makes them careless of rules.
